Jordanian entrepreneur Amjad Masad’s Replit has partnered with HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund-owned AI company, to expand access to AI-assisted coding across the Kingdom and the Middle East.

The collaboration will integrate HUMAIN’s Arabic-first large language model (LLM), ALLAM, into Replit’s generative AI development platform. A regionalised version of Replit will also be hosted on HUMAIN Cloud to ensure sovereign data residency and local performance optimisation.

According to the announcement, the partnership will support software development across government, enterprises, SMEs, and individual users by embedding Arabic-language AI coding assistance directly into everyday tools. Replit and HUMAIN also plan to co-develop educational programs and training initiatives aimed at building a new generation of AI-native developers in Saudi Arabia.

HUMAIN’s infrastructure will provide inference and orchestration capabilities on sovereign and international clouds, enabling Replit’s tools to scale across the Saudi public and private sectors. No financial terms or rollout timeline were disclosed.
