Egyptian venture capital firm A15 claims to have returned more than 10 times the capital invested to limited partners from its inaugural Fund I, joining a small global cohort of VC firms to achieve such a milestone. The exact fund size and returns were not disclosed.
Founded in 2015, A15 has emerged as one of MENA’s most operationally hands-on venture platforms, with a focus on founder support during high-leverage moments, from hiring and governance to product refinement and cross-border expansion. The firm has backed over 40 companies in nearly 20 markets across the region, but it’s the eight exits from Fund I that define its performance to date.
Among those, two exits returned the entire fund: TPAY Mobile, acquired by Helios Investment Partners, and Connect Ads, sold to Aleph Group. A15’s most recent liquidity event came in early 2025 with the sale of Link Development to Beyon Solutions, a move that capped the fund’s return trajectory.
“What we’re proudest of isn’t just the returns, it’s the community that’s grown around this work,” said Karim Beshara, A15’s Founder and Managing Partner. “From day one, we set out to be the kind of partner founders could genuinely rely on — not just for capital, but for perspective, conviction, and hands-on support when it counts.”
