Saudi-Egyptian startup Darwinz AI has secured $325,000 in Seed funding from Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures, marking its first institutional round after being bootstrapping by co-founders Emad Elazhary and Mohy Aboualam.

Founded in Egypt in 2021, Darwinz AI builds Dima, an Arabic-first AI copilot designed to help marketing and PR teams operate more effectively. The platform offers real-time sentiment analysis, crisis detection, and media coverage insights. According to the company, Dima can increase daily productivity by up to 80%.

Already in use by 300+ professionals across six MENA countries, including clients in telecoms, banking, real estate, F&B, aviation, and the public sector, Darwinz AI will use new funding to expand into the GCC from its Riyadh HQ at The Garage, and further product enhancement based on deep customer feedback loops.

“We don’t plan to roll out any new products,” said Aboualam. “Our sole focus is to make Dima the optimal copilot globally in our chosen use cases.”

The startup also has its eyes on global expansion by 2026, aiming to reach international customers with a fully productised platform.

In addition to capital, Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures bring deep operational and ecosystem-building expertise. That added support will help Darwinz AI refine go-to-market efforts and prep for a larger raise in 2026.
